Boyle County Inmate Mail
The detention center mail policy says that starting July 17, 2023, all mail must be sent to the listed addresses and mail received at other addresses will be rejected. Standard non-legal friends and family mail goes to a scanning address in Highland Heights. Legal mail and money orders go to the detention center address in Danville. All incoming mail must include the inmate name and inmate ID, and all incoming mail must have a return address on the envelope.

Mail must be no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches, no thicker than light card stock, and able to feed through a sheet-fed scanner. Pictures are the only permitted enclosures, with up to 10 photographs per package printed on photo paper. Send letters and money orders separately when the policy requires it, because letters accompanying money orders may be destroyed.
